Aladdin’s Telecom, Media and Technology Advisory and Capital Markets team provides industry specific structuring, advisory and capital raising services for companies in these sectors across the US, Europe and Asia.

Biographies:

LAURA FAZIO, joined Aladdin Capital in January 2009 as Managing Director and Head of the Advisory and Capital Markets practice for the Global Telecom, Media and Technology sector.   Prior to joining Aladdin, Ms Fazio was the Global Head of Media and Entertainment Structured Finance at Deutsche Bank Securities until 2008.  From  1998 until  2007, Ms Fazio headed Dresdner Kleinwort’s  Media and Entertainment practice in the US, where she advised on and arranged over $5bln in capital for nine media transactions including the raise of over $1.4bln for Dune Capital (Production Partner for Twentieth Century Fox, $1bln in capital for Legendary Pictures, (production partner for Warner Bros) and $915mln for the acquisition of Dreamworks Film Library by Soros Strategic Parterns and Dune Capital.In addition to the above Landmark transaction, Ms. Fazio advised on the sale of Warner Village Cinemas Italian cinema chain as well as the financial restructuring of Village Roadshow Pictures. From 1992-98 Ms Fazio served as the US head of media and entertainment at ABN AMRO, managing the global relationships for flagship media companies including Time Warner, Viacom, NewsCorp, Sony and Disney.  Transaction credits include advising and arranging the June 1998 $400 mln New Line cinema film securitization as well as the $225mln Sony Palisades Partners international film rights acquisitions facility. Ms. Fazio has an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management at Thunderbird and a BA from American University.


NAN LOGAN, Managing Director in the Global Telecom, Media and Technology Advisory and Capital Markets business. Prior to joining Aladdin, Ms. Logan was a Director of Media and Entertainment Structured Finance at Deutsche Bank Securities where she was responsible for originating, structuring and syndicating filmed entertainment transactions.  Previous positions have included Director of Media Investment Banking at Dresdner Kleinwort, with responsibility for structuring and syndicating intellectual property based transactions and Head of Credit Portfolio Management at ABN AMRO Bank, where she was responsible for managing a $7 billion telecom, media and technology debt portfolio.  Ms. Logan holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University and a Bachelors Degree in History from the University of California at Berkeley.
