Aladdin has participated in the bank loan market since 2001 when it closed its first bank loan collateralized loan obligation “CLO” product. Since that time, Aladdin has closed nine additional CLOs. Aladdin’s global loan business is led by William Fish, CFA, Senior Portfolio Manager, who has over 20 years of leveraged loan experience. He is supported by Senior Portfolio Manager, John D’Angelo, Portfolio Manager’s William Lutkins and Angela Bozorgmir, and a team of seasoned investment analysts. Collateralized Loan Obligations Aladdin is a value-focused manager who favors credits and sectors that have exhibited stable cash flow profiles and attractive default and recovery experiences over the long-term. Aladdin seeks to maximize risk-adjusted returns through diverse portfolios, strong credit selection, a strong knowledge of structure and the application of those skills to each of its nine CLOs. Biographies: WILLIAM FISH, Senior Managing Director, Head of Global Loans: Prior to joining Aladdin, Mr. Fish was a Managing Director, Head of Global Loans and Transaction Services and a member of Dresdner Kleinwort’s Executive Committee. Mr. Fish was in charge of all international lending, leverage finance, loan syndications, loan sales & trading, trade finance, correspondent banking and international cash management. Mr. Fish moved to Dresdner Kleinwort in 2001 as Head of Global Syndications from Citigroup, where he was Managing Director and Head of the Loan Sales and Trading group for Citigroup’s Global Loans business for EMEA based in London. He held a number of senior positions in Citibank’s loan syndications business for over fifteen years including assignments in Los Angeles and New York. Previous banking experience includes five years at Marine Midland Bank (HSBC) in the international division in New York and as a representative in Frankfurt, Germany for Central and Eastern Europe. Mr. Fish graduated from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon where he majored in International Relations and German Literature. Mr. Fish went on to attend The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, where he majored in European and Russian diplomatic history and arms control. JOHN J. D’ANGELO, Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager. Mr. D’Angelo joined Aladdin’s US bank loan group in 2004. During his tenure, he has served in both senior analyst and portfolio management positions. In January 2007, Mr. D’Angelo assumed co-management responsibilities for all of Aladdin’s US CLOs. He also serves on the Aladdin Capital Management Risk Committee. Prior to joining Aladdin, Mr. D’Angelo was a Senior Analyst at Harbinger Capital Partners, focusing on distressed credits across several industries. Before Harbinger, he was a Vice President, Senior Credit Analyst at ING Capital Advisors, LLC, where he was responsible for several sectors for its twelve CLO’s and private accounts representing over $5.5 billion in leveraged loans and high yield bonds. Mr. D’Angelo also worked in the leverage banking divisions at CIBC World Markets, Royal Bank of Canada and Credit Lyonnais, performing due diligence on potential leverage loan instruments and monitoring existing leverage loan positions. Previously, he spent five years at The Chase Manhattan Bank in the Real Estate and Emerging Markets restructuring groups. Mr. D’Angelo received his MBA from NewYork University, Leonard Stern School of Business. WILLIAM LUTKINS, Director and Portfolio Manager. Mr. Lutkins joined Aladdin in 2004 and has worked with both the U.S. and European bank loan teams at Aladdin as an Analyst and Portfolio Manager. Prior to joining Aladdin, Mr. Lutkins was a Principal at Octagon Credit Investors, LLC where he was responsible for loan and bond investments in the healthcare, consumer products, retail, and food and beverage sectors. Previously he was a Director in the Corporate Banking Group at Credit Suisse First Boston where he managed a $1.8 billion portfolio of healthcare loans. Mr. Lutkins experience also includes four years at UBS Warburg as a credit product specialist focusing on healthcare, consumer products, chemicals and oil and gas. He received his BA from St. Lawrence University and his MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University. ANGELA BOZORGMIR, Director and Portfolio Manager. Ms. Bozorgmir joined Aladdin in 2004 and has served as the most senior analyst. Prior to joining Aladdin, Ms. Bozorgmir was a Vice President at HSH Nordbank where she was responsible for originating, executing and managing both high yield and investment grade loans in the power and energy sectors. Ms. Bozorgmir has over 20 years of experience including corporate and structured finance with Mitsubishi Trust, Greenwich NatWest and Deutsche Bank where she completed a number of loan, lease and other structured financings for clients in the power, energy, transportation and aerospace industries. Her prior experience also includes work as a financial analyst with the Industrial Bank of Japan and as a senior accountant at Deloitte & Touche. Ms. Bozorgmir is a certified public accountant and holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.
